I'm hoping that this year I can do a painting a day based on my Bible reading. This one is based on a combination of Genesis 1:1 - 2:17, Psalm 1:1-6 and Matthew 1:1-25. It shows Mary, pregnant with Jesus, surrounded by the multitude of stars created by God. The surrounding text picks out sections of the Biblical text that I used to inspire the artwork.
